Dear Neighbors,
Our public library is much more than just a building filled with books. Every day, the Dorman serves as a vital community hub where children discover the joy of reading by themselves or with a furry friend. Adults can access technology, build resumes to find work, join a book club, learn a craft or share a craft. It’s where our community can walk through grief together, donate blood or just sit, breathe and relax with a cup of soup or coffee in their café. Tell me, where else in our small community can those with limited budgets go to enjoy these amenities for free?
On Tuesday, June 2nd the community will be voting on the library’s annual budget. I encourage you to participate. Your vote determines whether this lovely gem of Bath can continue with its programs both for us and our children. A healthy, fully funded library is an essential service for Bath, NY.
Join me and head down to vote on Tuesday, June 2nd.
Sincerely,
Marcia Hall,
Resident of Bath, NY
