2025-2026 Budget Vote

BUDGET VOTE RESULTS: 84 YES / 24 NO

We’re excited to share that the Dormann Library budget vote PASSED — with 78% voting YES!

Your support means everything. Thanks to you, we can continue offering great programs, updating our collection and technology, and keeping our doors open with the services you count on.

We’re proud to be your library — and we’re just getting started.

Your Library. Your Community. Your Investment.

This year’s proposed library budget represents a modest increase in support for the vital services, programs, and spaces that enrich our community. If approved, the tax rate will move from $53.15 to $58.47 per $100,000 of assessed property value—an increase of just $5.32 per year for every $100,000 in assessed value.

That’s less than 45 cents per month—a small investment with a big return for your family and neighbors.

With this support, the library can continue offering:

  • Free access to books, technology, and resources
  • Educational programs for all ages
  • Community events and cultural activities

Your vote helps keep the library a welcoming, vibrant place for everyone. Thank you for standing with us as we build a stronger future together.

The Dormann Library will hold their annual budget vote on Tuesday, June 10th from noon until 8:00pm.

A public hearing of the budget will be held on Thursday, June 5th at 6:00pm.
